How to plant in your home.
1. Choose a well-drained soil mix and a pot with the holes in the bottom and larger than its original container.
2. Fill pot with soil.
3. Dig hole 1/3 larger than the size of the root ball of the tree.
4. Place root ball in hole allowing roots to spread. Plant no deeper than the original soil line of tree.
5. Fill in hole with soil mix and water thoroughly.
6. Pack soil mix and water again to remove air pockets from root area.
7. Place in sunniest location possible, indoors or out, and protect from freezing.

DO NOT mix fertilizer in hole before planting.
DO NOT water daily. Soil must aerate.
DO NOT fertilize for 3 weeks.
DO NOT allow roots to dry before planting.
DO NOT keep plant in temperatures below freezing.

CARE

Your citrus trees may be grown indoors or out, but must be kept from freezing. In cooler regions, plant may be grown in a container and kept on the patio in the summer and brought indoors in a sunny location in the winter.

Plant may be grown outdoors as long as it is protected from freezing temperatures in the winter.

Water when upper 1/3 of soil is dry to touch. Water only when needed and do not allow soil mix to become saturated.

Fertilize with citrus grow fertilizer using one tablespoon of fertilizer per 1 gallon pot.
If pests are seen on plant, consult local garden specialist.

QUESTIONS

How long till I get fruit?
Usually within 2-3 years.

What kind of soil do I plant it in?
A well-drained soil mix usually including Canadian peat moss, peralite or vermiculite and or composted bark or sawdust.

What if my plant is broken when I open it?
A few limbs may be damaged in normal shipping but unless the main trunk is broken, you should not have any problems with your tree.
